Cover Valet Hot Tub Cover Lifter

Everybody who has a hot tub or a spa in his or her backyard would not give a second thought about buying a spa cover. It is often considered, and rightly so, as an essential accessory to the tub. What is sometimes overlooked is the cover lifter, at least until the lady of the house starts developing bulging biceps.
One of the more popular cover lifters is the Cover Valet. It is configured to fit in a variety of settings including against a wall, inside a gazebo, or an existing deck. The heart of the cover lifter is the two powerful gas springs that allow you to effortlessly lift and lower even the biggest hot tub covers. Once the cover is lifted, a locking mechanism is engaged securely holding it in place.
The Cover Valet’s brackets and arms are plated with zinc guaranteeing durability and strength. They are also finished with a powder coating which provides a lustrous and smooth surface. What is probably more important is that this coating also keeps rust and corrosion at bay. This is necessary because the different chemicals poured into the hot tub to keep the water clean can potentially damage the metal lifter. For the same reason, all hardware are made of stainless steel.
The cover lifter can be mounted on the hot tub cabinet or on the deck. The fingers of the brackets are inserted into the seam of the hot tub cover so that when the brackets are lifted, the cover is lifted with them. When opened, the cover can also serve as a privacy wall.
