Hydroquip 6100 Series Universal Solid State Spa Pack
Basking in the hot water of your hot tub and enjoying a relaxing massage from the streams of water spewing out from the jets of the spa, it is easy to forget that there are a few electrically-powered machines running in some hidden place making your rest and repose possible. There is a water pump that circulates water in the tub, a heater keeping the water at just the right temperature, and perhaps an ozonator for emitting ozone into the water and cleaning it. With a Hydroquip 6100 Series Universal Solid State Spa Pack, you get a heater and a control system regulating the flow of power to the water pump and ozonator.
The Hydropquip can come wired for either 110 or 220 volts. If you opt for the former, the component circuits for the pump and ozonator will be limited to 110 volts. On the other hand, if you choose 220 volts, the said circuits can be set to either 110 or 220 volts.
Featuring a Visual Diagnostic System, or VDS, the machine is equipped with indicator lights that blink to warn you of equipment or wiring problems. This makes maintenance of the entire system easy and less costly as problems are immediately detected before they cause further damage. Using solid state technology in its electronic components and circuitry, reliability and accurate temperature settings are assured.
The spa pack has a 1.4/5.5 kW heater housed in a stainless steel manifold. Heat is regulated by a solid state thermostat that can be adjusted via a control panel mounted at the top of the heater. The heater is activated by a pressure switch preventing it from operating when there is no water in the manifold.
The Hydroquip 6100 Series Universal Solid State Spa Pack comes with wall and foot mounting brackets for help in installation. It has a compact design, with measurements of 19.5″ W x 11″ H x 3.5″ D, which further makes installing it easier.
