MicroPure High Density Spa Cartridge Filter

Recent technology has allowed the development of high-density micron filters that are made of polypropylene fibers with microscopic caves and caverns. These measure as small as one micron. The MicroPure High Density Spa Cartridge Filter uses such filter through which water is forced. As the polypropylene fiber is wound tightly around the core of the cartridge, water passes through several layers of the filter. In the process, even the minutest contaminants are trapped and retained within the microscopic caves and hollows.
This method is said to be more effective than pleated filters as it is capable of filtering solid, liquid, and semi-solid contaminants. Solids include hair, nails, or leaves. Liquids can come from body oils, synthetic oils applied to the body, or sweat. Semi-solids are the most difficult to remove from water. These include human skin and waste, pollen, or finger nail polish. All these are absorbed by the filter resulting to clearer water.
Owing to the efficiency of the MicroPure High Density Spa Cartridge Filter, there is no longer any need for clarifiers, cartridge cleaners, scum digesters, and defoamers. Chemical additives such as chlorine or bromine also last longer as there are less contaminants floating in the water.
Apart from providing clear water, spa pump, heaters, and pipes also benefit from the intense filtration of the polypropylene filters, keeping them free from dirt that could build up clog them.
Although a good shower is strongly recommended before immersing yourself in your hot tub, in case you forget or in too much of a hurry to dive in, the filter can even remove your sweat from the water. If you like having a glass of wine or beer while soaking and spill some of it, the filter can also take that abuse.
The filter generally lasts from 2 – 4 months. It is not washable requiring you to simply change it with a new one.
