Pentair MasterTemp High Performance Heaters
Hot tubs come in different sizes and shapes. Some are designed for two persons while others are large enough for the whole family with a few friends diving in. Depending on their sizes, this could be as much as eight or nine. The bigger tubs necessarily require more water and therefore higher capacity heaters. It is for this reason that the Pentair MasterTemp High Performance Heaters come in 14 models to suit the heating requirements of the differently sized tubs.
All 14 models are constructed in the same compact design. They are encased in a tough metal casing that is resistant to rust even when constantly exposed to heat and the elements. The 14 models have heat outputs from 175K, through 200K, 250K, 300K to 400K, all in BTUs per hour. Eight of these are fuelled by natural gas while the remaining six burn propane.
Heating is fast because of the highly efficient mixture of gas and air that quickly ignites to heat the water. In addition to this, the mixture also means that no gas is wasted thus resulting to lower spa heating costs.
Equipped with a control panel with pushbutton digital controls, the heater is easy to operate. There are also indicator lights that illuminate to immediately show which function is up and running, as well as a digital display of the water temperature. This display is mounted on the top lid of the machine. The lid can be rotated so that the display can be set into any position convenient for you to read.
The Pentair MasterTemp High Performance Heaters run quietly you will barely hear a sound from them. If you are into meditating while luxuriating in hot water, then this heater is definitely for you.
To assure a safe operation, the heater is fitted with a water pressure and high limit switches that turn off the heater if water temperature exceeds preset limits. If servicing the heater is necessary, gas flow can be closed with a manual shut off valve.
