Hot tubs are built for relaxing. The water in it must be sufficiently hot for basking. It has to be clean and free from any form of debris and microorganisms. It would be most uneconomical if every time you use your tub you have to heat the water from low temperatures. And it would also be most unwise if it were left open for leaves, dust, and insects to fall into when it is not in use. Offered in three sizes –small, medium, and large— you can avail of the benefits of the Super-R covers regardless of the size of your hot tub. If it is not of a standard size or shape, such as a circle or octagon, or it has a cut corner, Super-R can custom-build one for you. The small cover is 72-inch square, the medium is 72 x 85 inches, and the large is 85 x 96 inches. All three sizes have a taper of 6 to 2 inches.
The cover is made of marine-grade vinyl sewn with marine grade thread. This means that it is weather-resistant and long lasting, and that it can take punishment from the sun, rain, or snow. It also resists degradation from ultraviolet rays. Neither is it affected by oil, mildew, chlorine, and bromine. It is strong enough to support a 350-pound weight. Owing to this, it is can be used for in-deck tubs as it does not pose a danger if it is stepped on.
Three-inch skirts are standard although you can opt for a 5-inch version. To secure the cover to the hot tub and prevent it from getting blown by strong winds, it is fitted with four security straps that are locked by a buckle. There are also two assist handles for ease of opening or closing it.
Inside the cover is a 2-pound density foam that helps keep the heat in. Protecting the foam from moisture are tri-extruded plastic wraps.
