StaRite SuperMax In-Ground Water Pumps
Housed in a case of reinforced composite material that resists corrosion, cracks, temperature extremes, and is unaffected by the sun’s ultraviolet rays, StaRite SuperMax In-Ground Water Pumps can be expected to have a long service life.
The pumps are available in five variations starting with the NE841 model with .075 HP; NE842, 1 HP; NE843, 1.5 HP; NE845, 2 HP; and NE846, 1 HP 2 speed. With these variations, there is a pump for a small hot tub up to a large swimming pool.
In spite of its power, the SuperMax runs quietly at barely above a whisper. This is because hydraulic noise is reduced by an integral volute and pot. Its durable heavy-duty square flange motor is designed to move more water at less energy consumption. Owing to its superior power, it can run automatic cleaners without need of booster pumps. Start-up is quick and easy because the motor is self-priming expelling any air unintentionally introduced into the pump.
The pump fittings are unionized making installation and removal of the supply and output pipes convenient. It has a hair and lint strainer basket that is visible through a clear lid. As it uses a cam and ramp lock, this lid is easily removed requiring only a quarter turn for easy cleaning.
