UltraJet Ultima Spa Pump

UltraJet Ultima Spa Pump

Although a water pump is just one of the many components of a hot tub, it is an important part as it circulates water from the tub through the filter and heater then back again to the tub through pressure jets. You cannot have clean and heated water, or a hydro-massage, without pumps. A water pump that is used by several spa and hot tub manufacturers and installers is the UltraJet Ultima Spa Pump.

The Ultima spa pumps are offered in several variations. From among these, you can choose the pump best suited to your preferences and needs, or to your tubs’ specifications.

First, you have a choice of motor power. The pump can come with a 1-, 1.5-, or 2-horsepower motor. Your choice will depend on the number of jets your tub has, and on the volume of water it can hold.

You can also choose between a single and two speed pumps. With the latter, you can opt to run at a lower speed to keep the water circulating thus keeping it clean, and switch to the higher speed for those relaxing high-pressure water gusts.

The Ultima spa pump is also available in either a center line top or radial side discharge. Both of these variations have a center suction. The suction port can be in 1.5″ or 2.0″. The discharge ports are of the same measurements.

The pumps’ coupling with the motor can be adjusted in four different configurations. The suction port can be positioned either at 3:00, 6:00, 9:00, and 12:00 o’clock making it adaptable to any type of installation.

Carbon ceramic coupled with Vitron®Elastomers seal all joints and apertures within the pump. These seals resist the heat normally generated by the motor. They are also chemical-resistant and are unaffected by the chlorine, bromine, and other additives needed to disinfect the tub.

Both 48 and 56 frame designs are also available.
